​​The Inspiration

Orchard Valley Fine Arts Foundation, Inc. was created in February, 2007 by Founding and Executive Director, Michael Morris. He had been considering ways to create a walk-a-thon that would raise money for both the fine and performing arts. While performing in the beautiful Central Park in Santa Clara, CA, his inspiration came into focus and, in one stroke, Michael created both Arts Walk Santa Clara to raise much needed funding for the arts and Orchard Valley Fine Arts Foundation, Inc. to serve nonprofit organizations in the development, management, and fundraising for the arts. Since Michael's initial brainstorm, OVFAF has grown to serve and assist other fine and performing arts organizations and artists by creating a fundraising campaign for a new opera, a full length documentary movie, and guided a new chamber choir and a concert series through the process of applying for 501c(3) nonprofit status.
